EHS student hurt in collision on Evergreen Parkway

A head-on collision involving two vehicles occurred on Evergreen Parkway about 10 p.m. Friday, tying up traffic and closing the westbound lanes.
A vehicle going the wrong way hit a 1998 Hyundai Accord driven by Evergreen High junior Alex Wormer. The EHS student was driving home after attending the school's varsity football game. His vehicle was totaled in the accident.
“They were coming over the hill, and I didn't see them in time,” Wormer said.
