EChO offers help, hope to families in crisis

Psychologists tell us the holidays can be stressful under the best of circumstances. Imagine how discouraging an otherwise joyful time could be under the worst.

“This is a tough time anyway, with heating bills going up and a lot of additional expenses,” says Mary Petrich, volunteer coordinator for Evergreen Christian Outreach. “But nothing’s worse than Christmas when you have kids and nothing to give them.”
