Evergreen Christian Outreach and the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce are conducting the EChO Jobs Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Wulf Recreation Center, 5300 S. Olive St., which is behind Evergreen High School.
This event is open to the public, and job seekers should bring a resume and dress for an interview.
The EChO Job Fair will also have a table and information on EChO programs that are open to the community, such as job seekers workshops, and seminars on budgeting and how to keep a job.
Doug Bell, editor of the Canyon Courier, will be available to discuss resumes; he teaches a resume-writing class at Metropolitan State University.
Employers participating in the Job Fair include the chamber of commerce, King Soopers, Home Depot, Safeway, Walmart, Evergreen National Bank, the Evergreen Park and Recreation District, Evergreen Car Wash & Detail, Beau Jo’s Pizza, Smiling Moose Deli, Mountain Taxi, Rocky Mountain Safety & Security, Walgreens, EChO Resale, the Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, Mountain Resource Center, Isle Casino Hotel/Lady Luck Casino, Big O Tires, AFLAC, Best Buy, and Jeffco Human Resources.
This Job Fair is free to all job seekers and employers.
EChO hopes the fair will become an annual, or even more frequent, event.
Employers can apply to participate by going to the echojobs.org website and completing an online Jobs Fair employer application.
