The Place plans illuminated Nativity at gateway to Evergreen

By Sandy Barnes

A large illuminated Nativity scene is being installed on the roof of The Place in time for downtown Evergreen’s Holiday Walk on Dec. 7.

Brett Edwards, owner of The Place at Meadow Drive and Highway 74, said he decided to bring the display to Evergreen to focus on the religious nature of the holiday.

“We can put Christ back in Christmas,” Edwards said. “Jesus is the center of it.”
