BAILEY — Just because of sheer numbers, victory was almost assured before Clear Creek even stepped on the mat Dec. 14 for its annual tri-meet with host Platte Canyon and Evergreen.
“It’s unfortunate each team didn’t have a full team. We’ve always had a real good rivarly with the two schools,” Clear Creek head coach Stan Gould said. “This year, their numbers aren’t as strong as ours. It made the win real easy for us. Normally, they match up competition-wise very well with us.”
