The city of Denver is supportive of a request by the Evergreen Park and Recreation District to acquire a liquor license for the Lake House, said EPRD Executive Director Scott Robson.
However, in order for the park district to pursue a liquor license, a master agreement between the EPRD and Denver would need to be in place, Robson said.
“Do we have any sense that this could be a bargaining chip?” asked EPRD board member Janet Doyle at the July 22 board meeting.
