The Jeffco commissioners may have violated the Colorado open-meetings law once again by holding at least one closed-door meeting with a lawyer who does not represent the county.
Columbine Courier attorney and media-law expert Chris Beall sent a letter concerning the alleged violation March 11 to the commissioners and to County Attorney Ellen Wakeman. The board was scheduled to hold on Monday another closed-door meeting specifically to discuss the legal implications of the alleged violation.
