Clear Creek County officials are asking residents not to travel on roads unnecessarily while damage is assessed after days of punishing rainstorms.
Most of the flooding damage in the county occurred in the area around Idaho Springs and in portions of the county in Evergreen near Upper Bear Creek Road.
The Jefferson County sheriff reported Sunday that flooding caused a gas-line break in the area of Beaver Brook Canyon Road.
On Sunday, the Clear Creek School District announced that all schools would be closed Monday.
