Conifer’s boys swim team is hoping to reach the next level.
They were on the cusp of a top-five finish at last year’s Class 4A state tournament, taking eighth-place.
This year the primary goal for the Lobos is simple.
“We want to crack the top-five at state,” said first-year coach Jeff Armstrong.
Conifer, which fields swimmers from Conifer, Evergreen, Clear Creek, Platte Canyon and Golden High School, appears to have the pieces in place to make that goal a reality.
