Candidates offer views on park district issues at forum

Candidates for two seats on the Evergreen Park and Recreation District board voiced support for preserving open spaces and developing trail connections during a forum sponsored by the Canyon Courier on May 3 at the Evergreen Lake House.

Incumbent board members Janet Heck Doyle and Peter Lindquist participated in the forum along with candidates Keith Parker and Andrew Adamowski. In the May 8 election, Adamowski, Doyle and Parker are vying for two seats; Lindquist is running unopposed for a two-year term.
