Business Beat: Daniel Diamonds plans gem of a new home

Daniel Diamonds will be moving into its new building on Castle Court in North Evergreen in January.

The 12,000-square-foot building will house the jewelry and gift store in about 3,000 square feet, with other tenants renting the rest of the three-story structure, according to Karen Alkayam, who owns Daniel Diamonds with her husband, Danny.

“A huge array of businesses has been contacting us (about renting space),” Karen said. Those businesses, she said, are a mixture of current Evergreen businesses and some interested in opening here.
