Bryce Cyr Miquelon, 17

Bryce Cyr Miquelon, 17, of Indian Hills died Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

He was born March 8, 1994, in Denver to Bryan and Agnes (Ann) Orrison Miquelon. He was a junior at Conifer High School, where he was an advanced math student.  He attended Parmalee Elementary School and West Jefferson Middle School.  

Bryce was a member of United Methodist Church of Evergreen. He loved snowboarding, talking with friends on X-Box Live, camping, football and music, especially AC-DC. He played on youth soccer and baseball teams and was a member of the Calvary Team with the Westernaires.

Bryce participated in many community service projects, including the Denver Urban Ministries and mission trips to a Nassau, Bahamas, AIDS camp and a Navajo reservation in New Mexico.

Survivors include his parents, Bryan and Agnes (Ann) Orrison Miquelon of Indian Hills; a brother, Joey Miquelon; paternal grandmother Marjorie Miquelon; aunts and uncles Greg and Mary (Orrison) Woods, Jeff Versaw and Nancy Miquelon, Randy Garrison and Pam Miquelon, William and Rebecca Orrison; cousins William and Rebekah Woods, William Orrison, III, James Woods and Rien Scheibler, Charles Woods, Jennifer Orrison, Michael Orrison, Emily Woods, Ryan Versaw, Claire Versaw, Robbie Garrison and Nancy Miller.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Cyr John Miquelon, and his maternal grandparents, Werner and Ruth Orrison.

Bryce will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He gave his best effort to everything he attempted. Bryce was a kind young man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, grandson or friend.

Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Evergreen Memorial Park, 26624 N. Turkey Creek Road. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. March 31, 2011, at United Methodist Church of Evergreen, 3757 Ponderosa Drive (http://www.evergreenumc.org). A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. March 31, 2011, at Evergreen Memorial Park, 26624 N. Turkey Creek Road. Please join family and friends between 4 and 6 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Evergreen.
