Avalanche kills Evergreen man at Winter Park

A 28-year-old man from Evergreen was killed in an avalanche while skiing in bounds at the Winter Park Ski Area on Jan. 22, the Denver Post reported Tuesday. Christopher Norris was found in the trees off Trestle Trail on Mary Jane Mountain after friends reported him missing at the end of the day. He was taken to Denver Health East Grand Community Clinic and Emergency Center at the base of Winter Park.
